Our company

The Roosendaalse Aardbei Planten Onderneming Rapo B.V. was founded in 1975 by Jos van Overveld. Right from the start we have been looking for sales opportunities on the entire European market.

The result is a wide network throughout Europe with local sales representatives. In 2005 Jos van Overveld handed over the company to the current owners Werner Hack and Marielle Nagtzaam, both working for Rapo for many years. They kept the focus on the international markets but they also obtained a strong position on the Dutch market.

In 2006 Rapo started a cooperation with three other leading Dutch propagators and the University of Wageningen under the name Fresh Forward. This breeding company develops new varieties. These varieties are tested extensively on growing conditions, fertilization and cultivation methods before they are commercially introduced on the market.

Rapo consist of a young team with the ambition to offer our customers high-quality plants.
